The Mott Health Care Center is looking for highly motivated, energetic team members to join our staff at our new 22-bed Basic Care facility. Preferred candidates must be willing to complete a variety of functions to fulfill the needs of our residents. Additionally, these individuals must demonstrate regular, predictable attendance and be able to perform all essential job duties. Applicants must be able to successfully pass background checks.
RN/LPN – Full-time and Part-time
The Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in the facility. They ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents. The RN/LPN contributes to the assessment of residents and administers medications or treatments as ordered. They will provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed. Documents resident interactions as needed and the outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary. Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with residents, health care providers, and the public. Ability to work effectively with professional and supportive personnel as a member of an interdisciplinary care team. Ability to communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Counsels residents, family members and/or resident advocate, under the direction of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider or physician on prevention and treatment plans. Knowledge of resident education principles to develop a self-care program. Performs other related duties as assigned. Postsecondary certificate from vocational school or Associate degree in nursing required. Current RN/LPN licensure with the Board of Nursing in North Dakota required. The RN/LPN will also assist other employees with their daily tasks.
Universal Workers – (CNA / CMA) – Full-time and Part-time
Assists residents in maintaining proper and clean appearance; assists residents with bathing and maintaining cleanliness of all body areas; helps residents with toileting needs; helps residents with dressing and undressing and maintaining proper clothing. Assists residents in transferring, repositioning and walking. Assists with preparing and serving nutritious, appealing meals and snacks to residents following orders, standards and regulations. Folds, hangs and distributes clean linens and personal clothing; prepares and launders soiled linen and clothing. Cleans resident’s rooms and bathrooms, work areas, and other public areas. Takes part in community involvement in location and works with volunteers.Excellent communication and team skills are needed.
Dietary Aid – Full-time and Part-time
The Dietary Aid will prepare and serve meals according to the menu and monitor the methods of food handling, preparation, meal service and equipment cleaning, while maintaining Mott Health Care Center’s standards of quality, sanitation, and safety.
